The driftwood leaves the shore
And floats away to sea
First, a little angel fish swimming in the sea
Climbs aboard the driftwood to have a cup of tea
Secondly, a damsel fish in search of company
Jumps on to the driftwood and joins the fish for tea
The fish tea party’s taking place upon the sea
The fish tea party is a happy place to be
Thirdly, a puffer fish puffs into a ball
Floats up on the driftwood, saying “Think I’ll join you all”
Fourthly, a flying fish takes off from the sea
Lands upon the driftwood and joins the fish for tea

Fifth, a mean piranha fish looking for a snack
Creeps up to the driftwood getting ready to attack
Then all of the party fish crowd into a bunch
And scatter from the driftwood
'Cause they weren’t there for lunch
