ANTS PRELUDE:
When I see ants in my kitchen
Before I think about spraying them
I say, “You ants, I want you gone by morning”
And when I go into the kitchen in the morning
They’re always gone, they’ve gone free
|
March! March! March! March! March! March!
|
Attention! This is your scout ant speaking
Hear ye, all ants in the colony
The Queen is having a royal feast
And everyone is invited
So, Soldier ants you guard the nest
Driver ants lead the way
March onwards - to the kitchen!
|
The queen of ants is having a feast
Come one, come all, get ready to eat
We’re calling all ants to share in the treats
From north and south and west and east
Hey! There’ll be chicken & rice and breads & sweets
|
Soldier ants - you march in time
Driver ants - form a straight line
Weaver ants - you give the sign
All you ants - march onward and dine
There’s no turning back, come rain or come shine
|
There’s morsels of meat with plenty to drink
We’ll get the water right out of the sink
The worker ants won’t get any rest
’Til all the lettuce gets back to the nest
Take all the turkey, we’ll keep it for best
We’ll save all the liver to give to our guests
It’s time to head home or we will be called pests
|
Attention! This is your scout ant speaking
Hear ye, all ants in the colony
The Queen has ordered us home to the nest
March onwards - one! two! three! four!
|
March! March! March! March! March! March
